Dr. Mehul Patel is a fellowship trained urologist specializing in the treatment of male infertility, erectile dysfunction, low testosterone, Peyronie’s disease, as well as general urologic conditions. Dr. Patel completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Virginia where he earned a B.S. in biology and graduated with the highest distinction. He then continued his education at the University of Virginia where he earned his medical degree. Dr. Patel went on to complete his Urology residency at Northwestern University in Chicago, where he received the 2021 Dr. Leander W. Riba Award given to the graduating resident who exemplified compassionate patient care.
He then concluded his training with a fellowship in Male Infertility, Sexual Medicine, and Men’s Health at the University of Miami under the mentorship of Dr. Ranjith Ramasamy, a world-renowned leader in the field. During this time, he trained in advanced techniques in vasectomy reversal, microsurgical sperm retrieval, varicocelectomy, and inflatable penile implant surgery.
Dr. Patel is committed to treating patients compassionately with a plan of care tailored specifically to meet the needs of each individual patient.
Dr. Patel is an active member of the American Urological Association, American Society of Reproductive Medicine, Society for the Study of Male Reproduction, Society of Male Reproduction and Urology, and the Sexual Medicine Society of North America. He has published numerous peer-reviewed manuscripts and abstracts and has presented at many national conferences.
Outside of the office, Dr. Patel enjoys playing golf, traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with his wife and son.
