Leslie Gorrell is a board-certified urology nurse practitioner. She attended Mercer University for both her undergraduate and graduate programs in nursing. Before joining Urology Specialists of Atlanta, she worked as a registered nurse (RN) at Emory Saint Joseph’s Hospital.
Leslie focuses upon a patient-centered approach to care, where she strives to ensure that her patients are well educated about their urology conditions so they can make care decisions that best meet their specific needs and goals. She treats patients with a variety of urologic conditions such as difficulty urinating due to benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) or an overactive bladder, recurrent urinary tract infections (UTIs), interstitial cystitis (IC) and kidney stones. Leslie is a member of the Society of Urologic Nurses and Associates (SUNA) and the American Urologic Association.
