Dr. Bruce Green is a board-certified urologist with over 40 years of experience. He completed his undergraduate studies graduating Cum Laude from Brooklyn College in Brooklyn, New York. He received his medical degree from State University of New York (SUNY), Downstate Medical Center. He performed his surgical internship at the Kings County Hospital Center in Brooklyn, New York until his call to active duty with the United States Naval Reserve. After his discharge as Lieutenant Commander, he joined the Emory University and Affiliated Hospitals as a Urology Resident.
He has served as Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at Emory University, Director of Urology and Urodynamics for the Shepherd Spinal Center. Formerly, he served on the board of the American Spinal Injury Association and is a member of the American Paraplegic Society.
Dr. Green's medical specialties include treatment of male and female incontinence with special emphasis on female pelvic reconstruction. His other areas of expertise include cryosurgical ablation of the prostate, laser endoscopy, treatment of infertility including vasectomy reversals, sexual dysfunction with special emphasis on the implantation of penile prosthesis.
Dr. Green has published numerous peer-reviewed articles on neurogenic diseases of the bladder and urodynamics with special emphasis on spinal cord injury, and is a frequent speaker and presenter for medical and scientific meetings. He has also been the principal investigator on numerous clinical trials.
