Dr. William Nabors is a board-certified urologist with extensive experience treating men and women with various urologic conditions. Dr. Nabors attended the University of Alabama, Washington & Lee University, Georgia State University and the Medical College of Georgia in Atlanta. He served in the United States Navy and performed his medical internship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center at Jackson, Mississippi.
He continued his training as a surgical resident and urology resident at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi, and later became senior and chief resident of Urology. In 1988, Dr. Nabors received training for extracorporeal lithotripsy at the University of Virginia School of Medicine and later earned his fellowship in urologic oncology at the University of Colorado, Health Sciences Center in Denver, Colorado.
He served as an instructor in surgery and urology at the University of Colorado Health Science Center and an assistant professor at Emory University. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and holds membership in the Society of Surgical Oncology, American College of Surgeons, American Urological Association and other professional organizations.
Dr. Nabors has been recognized as a Top Doctor by Castle Connolly since 2018 and Atlanta Magazine 2018-2022.
