Dr. Drew Freilich is a board-certified urologist. He graduated from Brown University cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Community Health. He earned his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School. After his urology residency at New York Medical College, where he served as chief resident in his final year, he completed a clinical fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina. He also completed a research fellowship in urology and robotic surgery at Children's Hospital Boston/Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Freilich has authored more than 45 peer-reviewed articles, monographs, abstracts and book chapters. He is a member of the American Urological Association (AUA) and the Society for Urodynamics, Female Pelvic Medicine and Urogenital Reconstruction (SUFU). He was a clinical instructor of urology at both New York Medical College and Medical University of South Carolina. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Urology.
In addition to general adult urology, Dr. Freilich is fellowship-trained in female urinary incontinence, prolapse, male urinary incontinence and erectile dysfunction. He is pleased to be able to offer a full spectrum of treatment options for complex kidney stone conditions, the latest surgical techniques for penile prosthesis for erectile dysfunction, and Urolift and Aquablation for enlarged prostates.
Dr. Freilich has been recognized as a Top Doctor by Castle Connolly and Atlanta Magazine since 2022.
