Dr. Drew Freilich graduated from Brown University cum laude with a B.A. in Community Health. He earned his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School. After his urology residency at New York Medical College, where he served as Chief Resident in his final year, he completed a clinical fellowship in Female Urology and Urogynecology at the Medical University of South Carolina. He also completed a research fellowship in Urology and Robotic Surgery at Children's Hospital Boston/Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Freilich has authored more than 45 peer-reviewed articles, monographs, abstracts and book chapters. He is a member of the American Urological Association (AUA) and the Society for Urodynamics, Female Pelvic Medicine and Urogenital Reconstruction (SUFU). He was a Clinical Instructor of Urology at both New York Medical College and Medical University of South Carolina.
In addition to general adult urology, Dr. Freilich specializes in female urinary incontinence and prolapse. He offers state-of-art-care for male urinary incontinence, erectile dysfunction, and urethral stricture disease. He is pleased to be able offer a full spectrum of treatment options including non-surgical, mesh-free repairs, and robotic surgery.
